Publicity strikes

After the bit in the Irish news at the weekend about Neil we have been inundated with photographers and interviewers!! Not that its a bad thing for the restaurant..... loads of publicity is always good, but when the lovely Peter the photographer said that Neils napper was a bit too shiny (yes Brendan, I said Neils not mine!!) for his camera and then asked me and Kim did we have any powder for his face it all turned nasty!
Now let me set the scene for you, I think that Neil had been up playing the PS2 for a bit too long last night and was tired when he came in this morning. He had to prepare three dishes from last months menu at 10.30am ( a bit too early for Neil - only had 2 cups of coffee at that point )
Now me and Kim on the other hand were as always as bright and breezy as the lovely sunny morning it was, this has the effect of irritating Neil even more, we then had to apply some urm, how do I put this, MAKE UP, yes that's right the big ggggrrrrrrrr Neil did have a little dandelion powder on his forehead for the photographs.
All this had the effect of me giggling my way through the photo session with Neil beside me giving off like mad and nipping me whenever he was told to smile, to add insult to injury this photo shoot was for "food & wine" magazine for a review of our restaurant which took place last month, we don't know whether its a good or bad review! we didn't even know we had been reviewed till we got a phone call from a photographer on Wednesday!
All this on Friday the 13th, and we aren't even suspicious.
